#04 | Behind the Iron Curtain and Stolen Revolutions, Part 1: Is history repeating itself – again? (interviewer: Sahajananda J. Porslund)
Is history repeating itself – again? I was a first-hand witness of the stolen revolution that took place on the streets of Romania in 1989. The striking similarities to what happens today with the rise of the ‘thought police’, ‘woke’ brigades running wild in the new “streets” of the Internet, and censorship in the name of free speech, are difficult to ignore. Can we afford to be ignorant in the face of such evidence?
In today’s episode, I am joined by Sahajananda J. Porslund, freelance investigative journalist with a MA in Comparative Literature. United in the moral duty to lift our perspective and look much more closely at the events of society, we discuss the reality that faces us now.
From the seemingly innocent comfort eating to compulsive eating, in this episode we explore the unknown ride of desires. In one way or another we all have some feelings about desires and this often affects our life much more than we care to admit. The first step to a state of freedom from these “dungeons” of our consciousness is to openly talk about it. Today I am speaking with Lucy Pattinson, co-founder of The Quantum Questions: a platform for courses and seminars that also hosts a wonderful podcast.
She courageously asks the questions that few dare to. In this episode we talk about the way we can turn guilty desires and pleasures into real fulfilment, exploring the amazing shift of perception that appears when treating your desires with the right attitude. Experience the feeling of freedom when you stop the tiring swing between fighting a desire out of guilt and giving into it.
